Steven - Landscape Designer
From a young age I had a love of plants and understood the pleasure being in a landscaped environment brings. I wanted to work in an industry which allowed me to create those environments and make a difference to people’s lives.
Landscape designers are passionate about the industry and love sharing that passion with team members and clients. You are constantly learning and there is always something new to incorporate into design ideas.
Jamie - Landscape Designer
What drew me to the industry goes way back when I owned a company in another industry which was stressful with long hours and had grown over the 10 years I was involved to include 70 employees, 2 business partners and a diverse range of businesses. I would go walking through the amazing Hunter Valley Gardens and the peace and wonder I felt walking those gardens gave me the incentive to retrain as a landscape designer and sell my former business share.

I love constantly moving around (not stuck at a desk), working with others to achieve a good result, and being able to create a
beautiful outdoor space for my clients.
Mark - Environmental Landscaper
I became disillusioned in my prior role in construction and wanted to change my career path, I was inspired by my grandfather who was a brilliant gardener and used to take me with him working in the grounds of stately homes when I was a child.
I love creating tangible things like wildlife habitats that could last for hundreds of years and assist native animals. It’s extremely rewarding to see completed projects grow and mature.
